Use of this website

This website describes the BuildGrade platform. Its content is provided for information and does not form an offer. Figures quoted describe our data holdings on the date stated and may change.

Early access

Early access to the platform is by written agreement with BuildGrade Ltd. That agreement, not this page, governs use of the platform, including permitted use of the data, security obligations and fees.

Data and licences

Information in the platform is derived from public sources under their published licences, including the Open Government Licence, the HM Land Registry data licences and the OpenStreetMap Open Database Licence. Users must comply with those licences. Registered-owner information is provided for display within the platform and may not be exported, republished or used for direct marketing.

No professional advice

BuildGrade targets and evidences retrofit work. It does not survey, design, specify or install. Outputs are not a substitute for a site survey, a PAS 2035 assessment or professional advice, and we accept no liability for decisions taken on them without such verification.

Intellectual property

The BuildGrade name, wordmark and the design of this website and platform belong to BuildGrade Ltd. Source data remains the property of its publishers.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
